Welcome to our restaurant!

For us, The Salsa Kitchen is a labor of love and a family affair. It’s  a place with an elegant atmosphere but with a decidedly casual vibe, where the food comes first and foremost and where  families are as welcome as those who’d prefer to enjoy a pitcher of margaritas late into night.

We’re 9 years into this Chiang Mai restaurant experiment (a couple with The Bagel Cafe and till’ now with The Salsa Kitchen) and it’s become our life and it just feels right – and we feel very fortunate to be here just doing what we love.

For us, it’s all about finding what’s best and freshest here locally and then taking the time in the kitchen to do things right – and we’ll always take a just-picked local product over an ‘authentic’  import – we just think buying and cooking this way makes for better tasting food, even if it means we sometimes stray from a copycat of what you’d get back home.
